Matching the Process to the Problem: Navigating Process Choices

Description:

How do you overcome a 10-year stigma of poisoning a lake against a community's wishes and under the watch of hundreds of law enforcement? Perhaps you can't. How do you help a region and community forget nationally televised civil disobedience? Perhaps you don't. How do you build trust, remove a threat, restore a water source, save a town, protect an ecosystem and keep everyone happy? Perhaps you won't. What if you have no choice? This session will combine a video, a small-group board game, discussions and panel presentations by frontline project staff to explore a complex history and current conditions.

Primary Target Audience(s):

Corporate Entities/Resource Users
ECR Practitioners/Attorney Mediators
Government Staff (Federal, State, Local and Tribal)
